Yummy!

Dad and I were catching up on some guy time this morning. We seem to watch the weather channel a lot!!
Oh man, this bumble bee is almost out of my reach, but I'll get him eventually.

So we tried squash for the first time this weekend. Kind of different at first, but I sure did enjoy it!

The bedtime routine....get a bath (check) have some cereal (check check) then top it off with a bottle (check check check). By this time my eyelids have a very hard time staying open and it is lights out until about 2am when I get hungry again!!

Busy day

So.. don't mind the milk mustache!! Mom thought she just had to get a picture of me in my Red Sox outfit before it got dirty. I'm not sure where she was going with that comment!! Thanks for the shirt Uncle Clint and Aunt Laurel!
I can't believe I have to do all the work, here I am in the kitchen helping mom make dinner. Recognize the saucer? Grandma Mel thought that I'd better borrow this for a little bit since Jaxson has outgrown it. We think she sent it because it was taking up room at her house! Either way, thanks for letting me play with it.

There is just so much stuff to play with on this thing, I don't know where to start.

Cousin's at play

Today we went over to Aunt Sue's house to see Cousin Taylor and Aunt Ronda and Cousin Tate were there too. So the three of us got to play around on the floor. Daddy and Taylor are checking each other out.
Cooper was showing Taylor how good he is at blowing spit bubbles. It seems to be our favorite thing to do right now. We babble and blow spit bubbles. (That is why we have a bib on too)

Once January comes Cooper and Taylor will get to see each other a few days a week, since Taylor will start going to her Aunt Nancy's for daycare part time. On boy better watch out!!
It is amazing what 2 weeks can do. Taylor pretends that she is an airplane and rolls from her back to her tummy and Cooper will roll to his side and almost get over but he still hasn't figured out how to get his arm out of the way. No rush, we'll get the hang of it soon.

Taylor checking out Cooper.

What is wrong with this picture???

We schduled to have our lawn fertilized today. But last night we had an unwanted reminder that summer has come and gone. Oh yes...SNOW!!!
The snow didn't last long but the simple fact that it is September 19th and there is snow on the ground can not be a good sign for what is to come in the next few months!!

4 Month's already!!

Well we turned four months and had our first taste of rice cereal. Cooper wasn't too sure at first but then I don't think I could get it to him fast enough. But we did find out we will have to mix in a little bit of pears from now on. Last night (Sept 11th) the three of us were up most of the night because Cooper had a tummy ache. Mommy even went to the store at 11:30 to try to find something to sooth the tummy. We found "Little Tummy's" which seemed to help and by 4am Cooper and Mommy were sleeping on the couch.
Here are our four month stats.
weight: 13lbs 10oz I'm in the 25th percentile (I gained 2 pounds in one month) not bad!!
height: 23 1/2 inches I'm in the 7th percentile (Okay, so starting our with a low wheel base)
Head: 43 1/2 cm I'm in the 82nd percentile ( What a noggin!!)

Cooper listening to his Baby Einstein mobile grandma Mel gave him while mommy gets a bath ready. The music and light's make tummy time a little funner.

The end to the big weekend, Cooper was exhausted and slept every chance he got while we made our way back home. We had such a great time and can't wait to see everyone again. We love you lots. Melissa, John and Cooper.

I think I got them all.
Grandpa was surprised and figured it out once his friends from the Jester's started showing up at the park. SURPRISE!!

Uncle Jarred scooped me up first thing for some guy time before we had to get ready for the day.

My new Best Bud!

Great-Grandpa Jim was very excited to see me, I had such a great time getting to be around grandpa. I think we make quite a team here. Just wait until I'm mobile!!
Just out of the car and right in to great grandpa's arms. He had been waiting all moring for us to arrive at this house.

Grandpa George and Grandma Mel picked us up at the airport the night before and lucky for them, I was wide awake at midnight.

Here is Cooper in the Denver Airport waiting for our flight. Our flight in was early but the flight out was 45 minutes late arriving. So mommy decided to let me relax on the floor, hoping that I might fall asleep for a little bit. No such luck. But I did fall asleep on the 30 minute flight to Grand Junction.

The Big Trip

We are at the Bismarck Airport getting ready to leave for Grand Junction, CO for a family reunion. Cooper wasn't sure what to think.
Dad is very excited to be past security, especially since the scanners where down and they had to go through our stuff one at a time. Good thing we were early!!

Just to compare, We are going to be gone for four days and this is the bag John packed.

Here is what I packed, which includes both mine and Coppers clothes for four days!!

Here is a picture of Cooper sitting on the couch like a "big boy"
