Visitors and tummy time

The other day Aunt Sue and Cousin Taylor came over to visit. Both Cooper and Taylor wanted to take turns holding the babies. ( I suspect Cooper only wanted to hold them because Taylor wanted to but either way it was very cute) Here is Cooper with Hunter.

Taylor and Conner having some bonding time

Here is a picture of the four of them. I can see how family pictures at Christmas time are going to 1 out of the four is actually looking at the camera (good job Hunter!) Cooper and Taylor were so excited to hold the boys and did such a great job too.

A little better this time, we have 3 of the 4 ready for a picture! Conner was more interested in Cousin Taylor.

So after taking Hunter for a P.T screening for his head (he favors one side more than the other) we have really been trying to get them to do some tummy time to strengthen those head and neck muscles. Here are a few pictures

As always Conner is not real impressed but he handles it pretty well just the same. He did like using the bigger pillow because he could see better.
Hunter was not a fan at first. But the doctor did say that this might be a little harder for him since his head is a little bigger than Conners therefore it weighs more.

**Seriously mom!!**
Ah much better, mom added a blanket under the pillow to help Hunter be more at an incline which really seemed to help.
Cooper was helping try to get the boys attention so that they would do tummy time for a long as they could stand. He is always a huge help with this.
We even did a little bit of our own tummy time too to help show the boys that it isn't that bad!

It is hard to believe that the boys are already 10 weeks old. On Tuesday they had there 2 month check up, which meant 2 month shots and since John had to go out of town all week to work grandma Melanie (NeNe) came to our rescue. She was more of a puddle after thier shots than they were. But we managed and pulled through!
Here are some new stats.
For being the smaller of the two when he was born, Conner is making up for it leaps and bounds.
He is now 12lbs 12oz and 21 3/4 inches.
Hunter on the other hand is now the smaller of the two.
He is10 lbs 6oz and is 22 inches.
Here are a few pictures.

Here are pictures of the boys with their blankets that they received from Dave and Sandy Doll.

Here are the twins, as you can see Conner was not impressed with the idea of matching outfits!
This las weekend we went of vacation to Aberdeen, SD to Wylie Park. Cooper had a great time again at the water park in Aberdeen. Maybe next year he will be big enough to go on the go carts and bumper boats that are at the camp ground. He and daddy were pretty disappointed that they couldn't ride on them.

Which way is the beach!!

Yesterday grandma and I decided to take the three boys to the Zoo. Grandma hadn't ever been to it and really wanted to take Cooper and the babies. So we got there just after it opened before it was too hot to have the boys outside and took the tour of the zoo. Here are some pictures.
Me and my boys!

Here are a few of the animals at the zoo.
pretty bald eagle

lazy monkeys

another type of monkey that you could hear howling throughout the zoo. Cooper thought he was pretty neat.

Once we got back to the house it was nap time for the boys, which made it easy for me to go mow the lawn. But this is what I saw when I came back into the house. Both of the boys must have been needing grandma. Conner looks like he really needed some snuggle time where Hunter seems to just want to talk!
