It's a party

Today we went over to Uncle Billy and Aunt Sue's to celebrate Taylor's 1st birthday. She was in the other room so Cooper decided to play with one of her new toys.

I really tried to get a picture of Cooper with his Grandpa George but apparently Cooper had other plans and wiggled right out of his arms.


Here is the birthday girl, we can't believe that she is already 1, which means Cooper is going to be one. This year went by way too fast.

Happy Easter

It was Cooper's very first Easter this year, so he wasn't quite sure what to do with his Easter Basket and eggs. But we think he got the idea.

This was Cooper's Easter outfit that Grandma Donna and Grandpa Bill gave him at Christmas. Very handsome if I say so myself.

Enjoying the weekend

Apparently Cooper is a bit small for his age. These pants are 6-9 month pants and we have to have the elastic waste band to help keep them up.

Tonight Cooper had chicken nuggets, minus the outside crust for the first time, and they were quite a hit. All cleaned up and ready to go see the Easter Bunny.

Like Santa Claus, Cooper didn't have any problem getting his picture taken with the Easter Bunny. He really liked the fur!

This was the closest that I got to getting Cooper to look at me long enough to take the picture. I guess it doesn't help that right behind me there are about a dozen kids running around.

Worn out!

It was so nice the other day that Cooper and I decided we were going to go for a walk. I've heard it is always better to walk with another person to help keep you motivated, but my walking partner only made if half way through our walk! The sun was in his eyes and we haven't bought him a hat that fits, so we used one of ours. Apparently it really works to keep to keep the sun out.

Guess what I can do?

I was able to catch Cooper walking for the first time, without him attaching the video camera.

11 months

Cooper really likes to play with the remote control, so watch out if we come to your house.

We had an exciting weekend, Cooper started walking. Of course, he actually walked for the first time on Wednesday evening when I wasn't at home. So this weekend I made sure to get a picture and video.

The Stairs

Oh boy!! We found the stairs while we were in the basement this weekend. Cooper thought they were just the greatest things to play on. Which is not exactly the idea that John and I had in mind. Cooper would climb up one step try to reach the next one and then realize that his legs are just not long enough yet, so he'd just sit down. (that is why I'm in the pictures too.)

So excited that he made it up one step.
