Is it Christmas yet?

Okay, so how are could it be to get 1 picture for our Christmas card this year? Let's just say this one took quite a few tries. Thanks again Glenda.

This is Cooper's favorite spot in the house. Now that the leaves are off our tree he can see the puppies acrossed the street. But tonight he is watching it snow.

Yeah, the first real snow fall of the season. Quite a bit later than the last two years and as of right now, no were near as much!

Here is a picture of the tree. As you can see only half of it is decorated, that is because Cooper really likes to take the orniments off the tree and hand them to you. So we tried to move them all out of his reach.

And last but not least, Cooper had his picture taken with Santa Claus a few weeks ago. Despite teething that weekend he did really well and we ended up with some really cute pictures.

Up in the sky...is it a bird, a plane.. No it's Super Cooper

So I found the perfect Halloween Costume for my little dare devil. So on Friday Cooper tried it on and ran around the house for a while. I think it was a hit.

Super Hero's apparently like to get in some good reading time in between saving people.

Perfect mode of trasnportations... the Train

Celebrating 6 years

Honestly, on your 6th Wedding Anniversary doesn't everyone get to go to Chucke Cheese for greasy pizza??

We went to Minneapolis with some friends of ours and we stopped in Fargo for their girls. We had a great time and I have to say I did get to play gitar hero for the first time ever and I'm not that good!

Chucke Cheese!

On our way to the Twin cities we made a stop in Fargo so that Corey and Denise's twins could go to Chucke Cheese as one of their upcoming 6th birthday presents. Cooper seemed to have a great time, except when a little girl kept trying to pick up Cooper everytime I set him down.

Here he is dancing on stage, I'm not sure if your suposed to but oh well!

Cooper and Chucke

Having a blast riding on one of the few toys they had for little kids.

The best ride of all, getting to ride in a car with Chucke! What a serious driver

The kids at the pool

Garret got to sneak in a little pool time after getting back from the Vikings game.

Ashlyn posing for the camera next to the water canon

Kaylee before heading down the slide

Cooper and Denise playing near one of the water buckets that fill up with water and then dump all over who ever is underneath.

more Minneapolis pictures.

Corey and John after getting back from taking Corey's son Garret to his very first Vikings Football game, he must be a good luck charm because they won.

It looks like these two might still be celebrating!

my two guys

what a bum.

Daddy's Dream Job

On our drive back from Minneapolis we got to see some linemen working on a new Trasmission line. The best part is that they were being dropped off on the structures by a helicopter. John said given the chance he'd like to do it, but he settled for just driving by today.

Here is a picture of the workers strapped to a ladder, 100 feet in the air.

Here is the helicopter bringing more guys, I tried to get that picture but going 70mph on the interstate made for a big challenge.

This is the best picture of the men at work.

Here they are having equipment lowered down to them by the helicopter

Papa's Pumpkin Patch

This weekend we took Cooper and his cousin Jaxson to "Papa's Pumpkin Patch" Too bad it was cold and wet so we couldn't stay longer for the boys to really have fun playing.

Here are the boys running around a big wooded pumpkin that Grandma Mel was hiding behind.

What a great slide, Jaxson had a great time running around the top half before going down.

Weekend visitors

This weekend we had a few visitors. Grandpa George, Grandma Mel, Aunt Becky and Cousin Jaxson came to see us. Cooper and Jaxson had a great time playing together all weekend.

Aunt Becky and Jaxson having some fun at the pumpkin patch.

The boys playing on the huge chair at "Papa's Pumpkin Patch"

And who can forget about the toy train the grandpa and grandma gave Cooper. Grandma found away for both of the boys to ride at the same time!
Thanks for coming to visit, we can't wait to see everybody in a few months.
love you, John, Melissa and Cooper

Little Helper!

John replaced out kitchen faucet tonight and had quite a helper. Cooper had fun climbing on daddy and stealing his tools.

Here I'll show you how to do it!

What a nut.

Mornings with Daddy and Cooper

Sunday morning John got up with Cooper and let me sleep in. When I woke up this is how I found Cooper. He has a pair of sandles that he really likes wearing but they don't fit over his pajamas and daddy can't tell his little guy no so they compromised. It is quite the look!!

I had to take these picures from the stairs so that Cooper would stand still for me too!

Just playing around

Cooper has decided that everything is a stool for him to stand on. He especially likes his Lightening McQueen car that he uses to look out the picture window.

Cooper and John were in his room playing with his Thomas the train so I decided to take a few pictures. As you can see John was very cooperative!

Cooper has really gotten the hang of getting on and off the train all by himself, But he still hasn't quite figured out how to get it to go.

This is how we get on! What a nut

And we just figured out that mommy has her camera out taking pictures

Camping in Medora

Over Labor Day we met up with Grandpa George and Grandma Mel in Medora to go camping. On Saturday the weather didn't cooperate for the guys to go golfing so they came with Cooper, grandma and me to go around town

And this is one of our great finds. For 50 cents Cooper was a real bull rider.... kind of!

With mommy holding on, Cooper took his turn riding on toy toy bull, good thing it went pretty slow

Here is a picture of Grandma Mel and Cooper at the Cowboy Hall of Fame.

and Yes that is a Texas Long Horn mount behind them, that is why I took the picture right there!

Cooper has about had it with the musuem, especially since you can't touch anything. Next time mommy will remember to take the camera to the musical!. Thanks for going camping with us, we had such a great time and we can't wait to do it again. love you two!
