No more pictures!!!

Apparently mommy isn't going to get any smiles out of Cooper. From his reaction he is starting to be more and more like his daddy when it comes to getting his picture taken!!

Mom thought I'd better have a hat on since we we're going to the farm, so that I don't get too much sun. Not sure why I needed the hat since I spent the time in the house visiting Aunt Rhonda and Tate. But what ever, mom thought the hat was cute.

The Boys

While I got dinner ready, John and Cooper had a little one on one time. John likes to rub his whiskers on Cooper to see his reaction.

I think Cooper is just a smaller version of John. We'll see as he gets older.

I almost forgot, last night was the first time that Cooper has slept through the night. We ate 6 oz and then swaddled Cooper up like we learning in our Happiest Baby on the Block class. This morning he started to make some noise and when I looked at the alarm clock it was 5:20 am. We'll see if this is a new partern!!

Seriously. How can so much come from someone so small?? Apparently people are right when they say it is different when it is your own baby, because seriously!!

On Tuesday, Cooper and I went to a class at the Well Baby Clinic held at the Hospital called "Happiest Baby on the Block". After being shown 5 easy steps we now know how to get calmed down and be content. Here is an after picture of a content little guy.

Cooper was enjoying sitting in his vibrating chair today. I think we finally noticed the green lamb that is on the chair too!

Can you believe that Cooper weighed in at 8lbs 6oz on Tuesday! He is 5 weeks old and has gained almost 2 pounds and has grown almost an inch. We also went from enjoying 4 ounces of fromula to 6 today. If he keeps this up he might be taking after his uncles Clint and Jarred. WOW!

We are very animated with our facial expressions.

1 Month today!!

We want to thank Aunt Becky for telling us about the MAM pacifiers! Yes, I should have bought some Saturday when the 5 of us went shopping. But we picked up a pack today, sterilized them and Cooper seemed to really like it. Maybe we can avoid over eating now!!

We wanted to thank Dave and Sandy Doll for the super blanket. We haven't tried on the sleeper yet but from the pictures of Cooper napping I'm sure he will enjoy wearing the sleeper too.

I can't believe that it has been a whole month since you were born. It seems like it has gone by so fast. We can't wait to see what is in store for us in the months to come. Love you, mom and dad.

Tired after a long day!

Apparently both of my guys had such a long day that a nap was needed! Must be rough!!

Grandma, Grandpa Aunt Becky and cousin Jaxson came for a visit this weekend! Sorry dad we must have taken all of the pictures with you in them with moms camera!!!

3 Weeks

We went to another "Well Baby Clinic" to see how were are doing. Glad to report that Cooper is growing like a weed. We are now 7 lbs 5 oz and have grown to 20 1/4 inches. We might start to fit in to our new born outfits!!

This is one of the best times of the night, right after he falls asleep but not quite ready to go to bed. Mommy takes full advantage of these moments.

Cooper finally enjoys being in his swing for about 10 15 minutes at a time.

Cooper was taking one of his little cat naps so mommy decided to keep him in the living room to get some sun. Notice the tongue?

Since we still had a little yellowing by the eyes and nose we decided we get some sun.
