Our 2 week stats

After Coopers first doctors appointment here is were we are at.
weight: 6lbs 13oz Cooper is in the 8th percentile. Since leaving the hospital we have gained 8oz.
height: 19 1/2 inches Cooper is in the 13th percentile. Since leaving the hospital we have shunk. We went from 20inches to 19 1/2 inches. But not to worry, our head is taking shape.
head : 35.4 cm Cooper is in the 19th percentile.

We'll keep you posted on how the next doctors appointment goes in July when we start getting our immunizations.

2 WEEKS OLD

Can you believe that it has been 2 weeks since I arrived!!! We have our first doctors appointment this afternoon, so we'll let everyone know how that turns out tonight it I give mommy a chance!!

This is the first time Cooper has actually liked playing on this little activity mat the Aunt Becky found for him while bargain hunting in Billings. He seemed to enjoy the music and would reach out and hit the stuffed animals haning over him.

We played for about 15 minutes and then it was time to have some lunch and take a nap before our doctors appointment.

Big Weekend

We had a busy weekend going to graduation parties. But we did make some time to catch up with some of the cousins. Brian was able to make it back to see is new baby sister for the first time and to help his cousin's Amber and Nikki celebrate.

Cooper also got to hang out with Ashley, Taylor, Jamison and Tate while at the party. Here is a picture of the six of them handing out. Brian is holding Cooper and Ashley is holding Taylor.

May 21st "Bath Time"

Our belly button healed up and we were able to take our first bath tonight. Cooper seemed to really enjoy soaking in the warm water. Too bad the camera kept fogging up. We had the bathroom a little toasty so the only one really enjoying this bath is Cooper, mom and dad are melting!

Not a big fan of actually getting clean though. We prefer to soak rather than wash.

I had to get in a little more cuddle time with grandma and grandpa before they left for Billings on Sunday. Thanks for coming to see me!! love you Cooper

One week old!!

Can you believe it, I was one week old on Monday!! Mom tried to put me in my swing to see if I like it or not. Looks like she will have to try again later.

Since we are now at home, we'll keep you posted on how things are going. Thanks again grandma for staying the week to help out.

Wednesday the 12th

We finally escaped today. Now mom and dad and I will try to get into a routine at home.

Grandma and Grandpa Schwartzbauer came over the next day. With me in they now have 8 grandkids spanning from 25 to 1 day!

Uncle Clint and Aunt Laurel were also able to make the trip over to meet me. This was the last weekend Uncle C had off for a while so I guess I timed it just right!

May 10th "I MADE IT"

Cooper John Schwartzbauer made his patently awaited arrival this evening. He arrived at 8:57pm with quite a set of lungs on him!!
He weighed 6lbs 10oz and I am 20 inches long.

The Big Day

If all goes as planned now, our newest arrival will be here in May 10th. But now that we have set up an inducement date, he'll probably show up on his own before the weekend is out. Which is fine with us, we're just excited for him to arrive.

Any Day Now!!

We are still patiently awaiting the newest member to our family. As most of you are too!! His great-grandpa Jim said Monday the 3rd will be the day. (Which is tomorrow) So crossing our fingers we'll wait and see what happens tomorrow!! We'll keep you posted.
